TMG Reporter has Blank monthly report

A customer today has complained that the scheduled monthly report on the company usage is blank.
One of the support guys for this customer has advised that sometime during the month he moved the location for the data from the C: drive to a new L: drive.
After quite a bit of testing, it appears that 1 day in the month has no data, comes out with a blank report, but all other days for the month are fine.
I can report from day 1 to day 14 and then day 16 to day 30 and have data, but if I include day 15 or do day 15 on its own, it is blank.
Can you advise why this may be happening.

This can occur if the records file for that day was not copied, or an attempt to copy it was performed while the TMG Reporter service was actively using the file.

Can you please check in the new data location on L: under Data.fvfs for a file named 201506150000001000000.records? If the file exists, check that its size is non-zero.

If the file does not exist, then you will need to stop the Fastvue TMG Reporter service, copy the file from the old location in C: if you still have it, and then start the Fastvue TMG Reporter service.

However, if the file exists and its size is non-zero, then the entry for this records file may be missing from the manifest.xml in the data storage, and the manifest will need to be rebuilt. Here are the steps I'd like you to follow so that we can rebuild the manifest.

1. If you're on a build less than, please upgrade before proceeding. Here's the direct download link:

Simply run the new installer over the top of your existing installation. The installer will pick up your existing settings, so just click next throughout the wizard without making any changes. Once installed, browse to the site and clear the browser cache by hitting ctrl + F5 (cmd + R on Mac).

2. In order for us to do the repair for you, stop the Fastvue TMG Reporter service, then send the directory listing and the manifest file from your Data.fvfs folder to us. To do this:
Go to the command line and run a ‘dir’ on the Data.fvfs folder in TMG Reporter's data location. For example:
c:\>cd “C:\ProgramData\Fastvue\TMG Reporter\data.fvfs”
C:\ProgramData\Fastvue\TMG Reporter\Data.fvfs>dir

This should give something like:

05/29/2014 09:59 AM 310 manifest.xml

Send through output of this, and also attach the manifest.xml file.
We'll then send you a new manifest file which you can copy over your existing file which will give you access to all the other .records files for reporting.

DO NOT RESTART THE TMG REPORTER SERVICE until you receive the new manifest.xml file from us. This will ensure that no more records are written while we make the repair.
